Nooka’s new watches confuse, update you to the time
Nothing gets our hearts pumping quite like crazy watches, as you may know, so it’s no surprise that we’re smitten with the new line of Nooka watches that just dropped. Theses unique, asymmetrical watches tell time with a series of bars and circles that are probably totally easy to read once you get used to it but make you look super-smart to the uninitiated.
They aren’t the most expensive watches around, but they aren’t exactly cheap, either, ranging from $250 to $350. But hey, can you really put a price on keeping time in a way that’s different than almost everybody else? Well, I mean, they did, but can you?
Latest in the lineup of unusual Nooka watches from designer Mark Waldman comes Creatures-of-the-Night, in camouflage patterns that make reading the time off the Zen-H style face even more befuddling. The watch was originally only going to come in boring old urban gray. But Mark couldn’t contain himself, and also went for jungle green and an insanely multicoloured version that would probably only be camouflaged on Saturn. Mineral crystal glass, stainless steel back, PU wristband and brain-twisting LCD display for around $300, available this month.
